Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Beetime LLC ("Beetime," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Bee, our AI calendar and tasks assistant. By using Bee, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following:
- Contact information — the phone number you message Bee from, and your name if you provide it.
- Messages — the content of the messages you send to Bee and Bee's replies, so Bee can understand and act on your requests.
- Calendar and task data — if you connect Google, we access your Google Calendar events and Google Tasks to read your schedule and to create, update, or delete events and tasks at your request.
- Guest responses — for events you organize, whether the people you invited have accepted, declined, or replied maybe, so Bee can tell you who has answered.
- Billing information — if you subscribe, our payment processor collects and stores your payment details. We never receive or store your card number. We keep a customer reference, your subscription status, and your billing period so we can tell whether your plan is active.
- Usage data — logs and technical information generated as you use the service, including a count of the messages you send, used for reliability, support, and enforcing plan limits.
- Website analytics — we count visits to our website and taps on the buttons that open a message to Bee, so we can tell which pages and which channels people find us through. This uses no cookies and assigns you no visitor identifier, and the records we keep of a button tap contain only which button, when, the referring page, and any campaign tags in the link — never your IP address or a device identifier. It happens before you ever message Bee and is not linked to your account.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the service: interpreting your requests, managing your calendar and tasks, sending reminders and daily summaries, providing support, and maintaining security. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your calendar or task data for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
We share the minimum data necessary with service providers that help operate Bee, each bound by their own terms and confidentiality obligations:
- Anthropic — processes your messages to power Bee's AI responses.
- Twilio — delivers WhatsApp and SMS messages.
- SendBlue — delivers iMessage messages.
- Google — Calendar and Tasks APIs, when you connect your account.
- Stripe — processes subscription payments and stores your payment details. Your card information goes directly to Stripe and is never handled by us.
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and website-analytics services used to run and measure the service securely. Our analytics is provided by our hosting provider and, as described above, sets no cookies and assigns no visitor identifier.
4. Google User Data — Limited Use
Bee's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We access your Google Calendar and Google Tasks only to provide Bee's calendar and task features that you request.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google data except with your permission, where necessary for security or to comply with the law, or in aggregated and anonymized form for internal operations.
You can revoke Bee's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Calendar events are cached only for a limited window around the present date, and events outside that window are removed automatically.
You can delete your account yourself at any time by asking Bee to delete your account. Bee will ask you to confirm with an exact phrase, and the deletion runs only if you send it. This is immediate and cannot be undone. It permanently removes your account, your phone number and name, your Google connection, your cached events and tasks, anything Bee remembered about you, your usage records, and your entire message history with Bee. We also revoke Bee's access to your Google account and cancel any active subscription at the same time. Deletion cancels immediately rather than at the end of the billing period, since the account is being removed.
Deleting your Bee account does not delete anything from your Google Calendar or Google Tasks. Events and tasks Bee created on your behalf remain in your Google account, under your control.
After deletion we keep one anonymized record for internal accounting: the date the account was created, the plan it was on, whether it was ever paid, its timezone and messaging channel, aggregate message and usage totals, and the reason for deletion. It contains no phone number, name, email, message content, or calendar data, and cannot be linked back to you. We may also retain information where the law requires it.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Connection credentials (such as Google authorization tokens) are encrypted at rest using managed key encryption, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- Stop messages — on WhatsApp and SMS, reply STOP at any time and our messaging provider will block further messages to you. On iMessage there is no equivalent keyword, so tell Bee you want to stop, block the number, or delete your account.
- Delete your data — ask Bee to delete your account and confirm with the exact phrase it gives you. See Section 5 for what this removes. You can also contact us instead.
- Access your data — request a copy of the information we hold about you by contacting us.
- Revoke Google access — disconnect Bee from your Google account through your Google settings at any time. Bee keeps working without it, with events and tasks stored only in Bee.
- Cancel your subscription — ask Bee for a billing link and cancel there, without deleting your account.
8. Children's Privacy
Bee is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. International Users
Bee is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the service or by other reasonable means.
